Young Male Lion Attitude

While guiding in Mjejane Game Reserve (Kruger National Park) we found the coalition of 5 male lions feeding on a small wildebeest kill. This interaction is a great example of how size doesn't always matter as one of the younger males ends up with the last spoils of the kill (the head of the wildebeest) and the older, bigger male backs off...

Not afraid of the bigger male the youngster had more attitude and determination! A future king of the Southern Kruger and possible leader of the coalition. Be sure to turn up the volume.
